Gubba is proud to announce that we currently have a shipment of Dutch made Sneeboer Tools in stock!
Sneeboer tools are considered the "Rolls Royce" of garden tools, everything they produce is forged, sharpened and polished by expert craftsmen, by hand in Bovenkarspel, Holland (about 60km north of Amsterdam). They use superior quality stainless steel & FSC (Forrest Stewardship Council) wood handles.
Sneeboer are a third generation family business, started in 1913, and currently run by Jaap Sneeboer.
Quote from Jaap Sneeboer - "If you buy one of our tools you actually don't own it, you're just taking care of it for the next generation".
Currently we only stock the spades and forks displayed below. However, if you are looking for any other gardening tools Sneeboer make over 250 different tools, all of which we are able to bring in for you. Please take a look at their extensive collection here and let us know by emailing email@example.com with what you would like, we can then price it for you and usually have the tools here within a few weeks at most.
Below is a picture of the Sneeboer team in their factory;
Sneeboer & ZN have a modern factory in Bovenkarspel, Netherlands, about 60km north of Amsterdam. You can see where they are based on the map below. View Larger Map
Here we have a great video of Sneeboer's production process;
These ladies tools look like they are exactly what i'm looking for. As ageing takes place and with only man sized equipment around I have difficulty using them and despair when my men get into the garden and DIY..... destroy it yourself, because I struggle to do it myself.
