A fantastic addition to the Subpod range, simply plant your Subpod Mini into the ModBed, add worms, and enjoy a living, waste saving eco-system. Plus you can plant and grow your own herbs or flowers around the edges - plants will thrive, surrounded by nutrient-rich worm castings! You can also use the ModBed as a planter on it's own.
The ModBed is made from FSC certified wood & alloy. Instead of being treated with harsh chemicals, this wood has been carbonised – a form of heat-treatment used in Japan for over 300 years. This provides natural rot and salt-resistance to wood and even helps deter pests like termites.
The liner that sits inside Modbed is a woven material made from recycled PET water bottles. This food-safe liner prevents the soil inside Modbed from rotting the wood or falling out, while filtering any run-off.
