The NZ falcom is capable of flying at speeds over 100 km/h and can even catch prey that are far larger than they are, they are a truly spectacular native bird. They are found throughout NZ and apart of 38 species across the globe and the highest concentration of our Native NZ falcon can be found in amongst the pines in central North Island.
