This Garden Bird Supporters Pack is an awesome collaboration between Topflite, Manaaki Whenua and the New Zealand Garden Bird Survey (NZGBS).
The pack contains top picks from the Topflite range, which have been carefully selected in conjunction with the NZGBS. A great gift for any bird lover, and a great way to participate in the annual Garden Bird Survey - although it can be enjoyed year-round!

What is the New Zealand Garden Bird Survey? This annual event happens every year, around June / July. You get to become a 'citizen scientist' and collect data about the birds in your own backyard! While Manaaki Whenua (Landcare Research) has a lot of data on native endangered birds, they don't always know how the population of urban garden birds are doing. All you need to do is count the birds in your yard for a specified period of time! This helps researchers to understand how birds are coping with environmental challenges, and builds useful long-term data that can help our feathered friends.
