There's no need for lots of backyard space for a compost heap when you have a bokashi composting system. The Maze Bokashi system is a compact, portable indoor composter that can transform a wide range of food scraps (including cooked food, meat, fish and cheese) into a lovely compost in just a few weeks - up to 50% faster than traditional composting methods!
Maze Bokashi composters use a special spray containing beneficial microorganisms that ferment and break-down food scraps, rather than allowing them to decay as with traditional composting. This results in a process that is much quicker, cleaner and less smelly than traditional composting and ideal for indoor home use. Once the fermentation process is complete, bokashi waste can be added as a fertiliser to improve soil condition. The process also produces a nutrient-rich liquid that can be diluted and used as a liquid fertiliser, which you can collect easily via the purpose built tap.
