Sneeboer have been making traditional hand forged Garden tools from stainless steel since 1913. This Stone Spade with steps is great for transplanting roses & shrubs in rocky or stony soils.
With a cutting edge made from multiple sharpened teeth, this spade is designed to work in stony ground where other spades aren't up to the job. The "toothed" design of the cutting edge is also good for trapping and cutting roots with minimal effort. In fact, this unique design increases the cutting edge by about 30% when compared with a regular spade!
The design of the stone spade has been based on an idea of the famous English rose grower John Scarman.
